Sandy began her love of art and interest in drawing at a very young age and thus selected Kutztown for her higher education . While at Kutztown, Sandy completed ALL Drawing Studios and ALL B&W Photography Studios while also taking Graphic Arts Studios, Life Drawing Studios, and Printmaking Studios. Examples of Sandy's work can be viewed on the home page . Sandy also completed the highest French conversational classes available at Kutztown. Sandy began taking French in elementary school and continues to use the language whenever possible.
Sandy went back to school in 2010 at Harrisburg Area Community College in Harrisburg to obtain a AA degree in Web Desgin. She competed this degree in a short 12 months while working in two local restaurants while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Sandy's drive and commitment is second to none and is evident by the fact she is a lifetime member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Sandy segued into jewelry fabrication in 2017. The artisan jewelry is made using natural stones, silver, brass, bronze or copper as well as leather. Each piece is an original design and is fabricated using a torch or kiln. Sandy does approximately 30 art shows a year in the North East. Her schedule can be found on the website stellascloset.com
